Eyedol is back, Devs said they’ll do a walkthrough with Eyedol (look at @KillerInstinct twitter page), but for the mean time, let’s listen to a classic piece of the best fighting game in the world, imo.
I hope his theme is a variation of this old one…kind of like Gargos’s has been made similar! Love the old EYEDOL theme! reminds me of the old days playing my Super Nintendo 24/7!!!
I love the re-designed themes, like Maya, Kim Wu, Cinder and Gargos, it brings the times back.
I love that he made a return… now we have all KI characters in the game. Oh, and he looks sick. That sliced head? Damn! Is that what threw the game’s rating up to M?

Its the best thing to happen to season 3, frankly it was going to be the worst season so far and this just saved it for me.
They seem to’ve really leaned into the goofy aspects of the original character concept. Eyedol seems to be the Birdie of KI…the twisted, eldritch, ritually reanimated corpse of Birdie after having simultaneously suffered a stroke and congestive heart failure before falling face-first onto a steel wire fence.
I’ll be surprised if the more dedicated Eyedol fanatics aren’t pretty pissed that IG didn’t play him straight as a serious warlord. For my part, though, I’m kinda fascinated: the teams at MS and IG have clearly leaned into the stupid madness, and I bet Keits and the combat design team have treated this as a unique opportunity to craft something absurd and different.
