I was born in 1989. so that makes me a Gen Y though some would call me a millennial.

Neat. Yeah, Gen X ended in '80, generally speaking. Gen Y, or Millennial generation, is roughly from '81 through 2000.
Since I posted in this thread last, discipline and maturity in society have indeed declined a lot more.
