Going back the cinematics for season 1 seem better and crisper than season 3!

I partially disagree.
MK2 Fatalities were unequaled until MK4, Friendships and Babalities were Midway`s poking fun at public opinion outcry about MK1 violence, they were intentionally goofy.
MK3 Fatalities were a huge step back in quality though.
The season one story endings are categorized as cinematics in store
Those are literally 3D pictures where the stage backgrounds move and the characters do not. The cutscenes in the S2 and SL modes have more “cinematics” than that.
I can vouch for that, and also love what they did with Aeon by making his gameplay fun. Iactualy felt like an animal when I use him. Best aeon ever. (I just wished they didn’t limit his customization)
Anyway the 15 ultimates does worry me a little, but I’d be happy to join in the fight to get an ultimate for everyone.

I’m pretty sure I knew what they were- definition unneeded.
I’m saying that they seem crisper than the season 3 ‘cinematic cutscenes’ especially thunders endings with orchid and orchid & Jago endings compared to the shadow lords Kim Wu scenes and Tusk/ Mira scenes.
Microsoft has placed these endings in the CINEMATICS category no matter what they are comprised of-
They’re crisper because nothing happens. That’s not a fair comparison.
Sorry it’s definitely crisper because of the facts.

I like these ultimates, they are awesome and of course the ones from the original KI are better in my opinion, except orchid’s flash (for being sexual) and frog stomping (for animal cruelty) and thunder’s lightning dance (for being kind of racist).
Edit: I meant stereotyping, not racist.
Well, not completely. MK has definitely had it’s share of silly fatalities:

Even the devs of MK themselves have said that some of the fatalities are meant to be comical and jokes, throughout the series.
Not to start an argument, but you know native Americans dance right, and that they also have war dances. I watch them dance every year. How exactly is Thunder’s classic no mercy racist? Actually, go look up the term racist. In no way does Thunder’s classic no mercy imply hatred towards native Americans. If anything, it could be considered stereotyping…maybe.
yea, but imo MK finishers are brutal at heart, goofiness does not suit this series.
Like seriously, Quan Chi neck stretch or Kabal`s scare to death are neither brutal or funny.

When we think about it, let’s gace it, you’re always gonna find a hand full of ridicuouls fatalities because there’s so many I’m sure once the full 15 come out, and hopefully even more down the line we’ll have a good nymber to sort through.

So, who do we think is coming up next? Who’s the next batch of Ultimates going to?
My money is definitely on Fulgore and Hisako. Fulgore is the series mascot (he’s been on every box art and almost every piece of promo material) and Hisako is probably one of the most beloved of the new characters.
Maybe the @developers could drop us a hint in the near future.
