Tusk's Music

Yep,so far its good. But from a musicians point of view, as I have been playing guitar, drums and producing metal music for 28 years now…my technical assessment so far, is Mick is superior to the new guys. Once I hear the full themes…I’m confident this will echo even more.

I just wish Mick could have done Tusks theme…i know he would have knocked it out of the part…I’m not feeling that right now with tusks theme… its sounds good, but it doesn’t blow me away like Tusks Original theme from KI2

Fair enough. I’m not a musician and not particularly a fan of rock, so my technical knowledge on that score is by no means expansive.

One of the things I liked about Mick was the range in sounds he displayed. Maya’s theme sounds nothing like Aganos’ sounds nothing like Jago’s. Celldweller has shown some of that same versatility from what I’ve heard of some of their work elsewhere, so I’m just really hoping they display the same range Mick did. I’ll give them that the Kim Wu, Arbiter, and Tusk tracks all have very distinct sounds and that I like them, so I’m remaining optimistic for their S3 work.

But man, that original Tusk theme was just godlike - would’ve been more than happy for them to simply remix it the way Mick did for Cinder’s theme.

I was hoping to hear more of an orchestral track with tusk.

I was disappointed… I kinda had my fill of rock and metal in KI… (no offense to to mick gordon)

It still sounds good.

I know right? Im listening to Tusks OG theme right now and there is a game play video of the new Tusk and they have the old theme playing instead of the game music… I kind of wish we could use the old themes and swap them out just for fun and more variety … what if S3 allowed you to use the old themes with the retro costumes??

@TempusChaoti Can we please have the option to swap out themes for any stage and also include all the old tracks??? Please? We want to play with Tusk’s original theme! Jago’s and Kim’s would be awesome too!

Tusks theme is so brutal, I really dig it for some reason.
