You’re reading WAY too deep into what I’m saying.
I WANT him to be an immortal or post-cryofreeze warrior from ancient times who has adapted somewhat to the modern world, making the costume we’ve seen (with the modern elements) his main costume.
As some have pointed out that they don’t think this is the case, and that they would expect him to be more modern than he is, (Highlander style) I merely suggested that because we have a precedence of seeing a Retro first (with Rash) it is possible that what we got a tease of was his retro, and his main costume might be more obviously modern.
The thing is, the Retro costumes are supposed to look like the characters’ retro selves from the past games, more or less.
But that is not the case with the Tusk we see in the teaser trailer.

I’m not disagreeing with you on that. But as many people are quick to point out, not all the Retros look exactly like the originals.
Like I said, I WANT this to be Tusk’s main costume, with a Retro that is very close to the original, I’m just saying there are instances of “not the same” and “retro first” which have happened before, so it wouldn’t be too strange to find out that either case is true for Tusk.
I feel strange going back and forth this way with you two considering I don’t really think I disagree with either of you lol.

Ah, I didn’t understand that from what you said. To me it sounded like you were insistant on this being the Retro, because you wanted it to be, even when it doesn’t look like it…
If this turns out to be the retro though… IG did a really bad job on it. XD
I like how he looks, but it doesn’t look like Tusk from KI2.

I’m pretty sure what we saw was his main but you never know.
I was hoping for a different type of look. I may feel differently when he’s shown in full action but atm just to see something more my style, I mashed up some pre existing drawings and added the tattoo. I’m on the fence about his sword tho, not quite sure which I like better.
