TJ Combo's Rez in Dojo

TJ combo is my Dojo partner. he’s the guy I practice on because I think its neat that the boxer is the one “teaching” me how to fight.

Anyways, I did this one combo with Shago. Gate keeper >> Dash >> Grab >> MP >> Surge Fireball >> Shadow footdive >> etc.

I set the AI to crouchblock. And Im not talking about the auto-block low feature. I recorded myself Crouch-blocking because the AI doesnt seem to block mid attacks but I digress.

Anyways I turn health regen off. I do the above combo, I hear “DANGER DANGER” and I go into Shadow Footdive and finish the combo.

NO REZ. He has full instinct and everything. Which he should because Ive been using him as a punching bag for the last 30mins.

Unless this is some sort of dojo anomaly or if someone else figured this out before me, I think Shago just got some new tech.

I’ve tried it without Ending the combo, ive tried it with different buttons and from what I’ve figured out, the way to stuff his Rez instinct is by killing him mid combo (roughly 10% health), and as soon as he’s “DEAD” extend the combo a few seconds with surge fireball and Recapture.

It seems like the rez has a set amount of time proccing or Shago’s surge and recapture really screws with it.

EDIT: NVM. this is a Dojo bug where TJ combo doesn’t proc his rez again even if he has full instinct a second time.
