Okay they say Father time is undefeated. And so is my employer, I’m out of EVO Japan due to commitments at work. Apparently Tokido couldn’t defeat me the normal way so they made sure I couldn’t compete at all. I’ll be watching EVO Japan from behind my desk.
In the end I’m still undefeated.

I saw. A season 5 huh? This game just won’t die. Hopefully this time we get a true guest character from outside of Capcom.
I just want Fei Long, Goutetsu and maybe Adon? Although a KOF guest would be awesome but probably will never happen.
Makoto will probably happen thanks to her extreme popularity. Personally I’d love it if they added Twelve, Necro, and his chainsaw wielding girlfriend.
And never say never on KoF. SNK’s licenses are notoriously cheap (the Fighting EX Layef team was able to afford it after all) and SNK has been Buddy Buddy with Capcom in the past. Really, I think it just boils down to if Capcom wants to or not. I think it would be fun if they did Terry, but keeping in line with all the other characters having new “older” costumes with a classic alt, it would be Garou Terry with his classic as an alt. But there are a bunch of non-capcom guest characters I can think of that would rock.
Just a handfull of thoughts.
Makoto and Q are the only characters from the Capcom popularity poll that crack the top 10 that aren’t in Street Fighter V.
Crimson Viper has been in leaks for ages.
Skullomania is the only EX character to crack the top 20
Retsu and Sawada are characters that have been asked for for a while.
I read somewhere that the SFV team really wanted to add in Pepsiman.
Necro and Effie would be really cool additions.
Jessica Haggar learning to fight and stand up for herself and joining the roster would be great.
Eagle should join up and be explicitly portrayed as gay. And while we’re at it just confirm Poison is a trans woman. Her story mode is riddled with trans coded language and subtext.
Philippe from Final Fight 2 is BEGGING to be a Street Fighter character.
Maki and Carlos from the same title would be neat.
