The beta releases Today, Oct. 8, at 1 PM EST. So any of you guys downloading it and playing? The Battle of Hoth is about to get Colder.

Is it only accessible if you’ve preordered, or is it a fully open beta?
It’s supposed to be Open.
Cool, I’ll try to take a look later. Is it downloadable before that time, or is that when the download becomes available?

Well, I’m game to give it a go. It’s got the sights and sounds down pat but I’m also hearing it’s a throwback to 2000’s shooters, ie, very simple.
It should be when the Beta launches and is ready for download.

Here was my experience in the Walker Assault, both Rebel and Imperial.
Without a sniper/upgrades, it’s a pain!

It feels very generic. To me. I was very disappointed with it when I was playing last night 
I ran into bugs, lag, severe loading times that sometimes never even finished, crashes, etc. Other than those absolutely game-breaking things, I liked what I saw… SMH

Finally played by first multiplayer match today and I went 12/0…
I think I’m gonna like this game
So it’s NOT because of E.A. themselves who I now understand gotten a (for a lack of a better word) crappy reputation in the gaming industry as well as amongst the gaming community? 
The games pretty good but there are a few things that need fixing, id definitely get the full game with more maps weapons modes and so on, the graphics are crazy aswell, if they build off what they have now it will be great one thing that i dont like is the vehicles just like in battlefield could be better
