I’m currently stuck on the Oil Ocean Zone. I kinda thought the smokey sky effect in Act 2 was neat when I first saw it, but after awhile it just got to be annoying and a nuisance.
Can someone tell is there a Sonic 3 skin for Sonic as unlockable or as DLC?

There is not at this time. I don’t think they will do any kind of DLC either. If they did, I would hope Angel Island, Mystic Cave, Sonic 2 Hidden Palace, Casino Night or Carnival Night, or Ice Cap zones would be DLC first.
Being honest, I am not a fan of Sonic’s sprite art for Sonic 3. It never looked right to me for some reason.
Yea, he is less cute and more smug and, but it would be neat to have it selectable.
I heard the apperance change is because it was Sega USA’s vision of Sonic.
I would love to see Mushroom Hill, Ice Cap, Hill Top (stoner music xd), and Marble Garden (I love this zone’s theme)
I wouldn’t mind seeing dlc for sonic mania,I mean if lost world can add new zones why not mania.

I do agree, I don’t welcome the inclusion of big, but I did enjoy the play through with Knuckles (my favorite character in the series) and E-102 which added some new stuff too. I also think that Sonic Adventure 2 solved that problem and told a good story in my opinion (I know many fans of the sonic won’t think its needed)/ Either way adventure series, Classic series, I love them all the same.
Also love lava reef zone act 2’s soundtrack. It made @JEFFRON27 say

Well, I finally have my mitts on this game and the nostalgia is real! This is pretty much exactly what I’ve wanted all these years, with some extra, unexpected nostalgia easter eggs to boot, my favourites probably being:-
[spoiler]Pink Bot/Pine Pot reference to Streets Of Rage, the Revenge of Shinobi boss complete with authentic sound effects and the Sonic CD “Future!” level transition in Stardust Speedway. I also loved the role reversal boss from Hydrocity Zone, that was a huge surprise![/spoiler]
Anyway, no regrets so far, all I can say is, more please!

Glad you enjoy it. I’m just sorry that PC players have to deal with the DRM of the pc version. I’ve seen a lot of youtubers speak out about it lately that Sega chose the worst DRM software to implement in games. I understand not wanting your hard work pirated, but this DRM has such a horrible reputation, and has caused some people to want refunds.

There has been a statement issued stating that the offline bug is now fixed, but I’m not as up in arms as most players about DRM, heck Steam is technically DRM if you think about it. I’ve had no performance issues or stuttering and only 1 desync issue the whole time I’ve played so far, (currently stuck on Titanic Monarch Zone) I’m just missing having a Megadrive pad rather than a Steam pad to play it on.

That is just perfect.
Beat the game twice, first time as Sonic, then as Knuckles.
I freaking love this game, could play it over and over. The flow, music, gameplay, everything is perfect.
Right now I am forcing myself to take a break to not get burned out, but it’s difficult 
And when quality mods arrive, kreygasm.
I hope Mania won’t be on hit wonder and Sega continues with games in classic formula.
Personally I’m hoping Sega rereleases Afterburner Climax at some point. I didn’t even know it was a thing until about a year or so ago when I played the arcade version as a Chuck-E-Cheese, and then learned they had released it for the 360 and PS3, only by the time I had learned about it it had already been pulled from digital stores, which nowadays means it’s gone extinct.
