Considering how long ago ki came out 2013 or 14 whenever it was… They just did such a good job with it.

For the most part I’ve been a soul Calibur player for years now I’m not really great or anything but I stayed away from the mortal Kombat and I’ve dabbled a little bit and they Street fighter realm and I only discovered ki this last year…

Sure MK 11 looks pretty modern but it doesn’t feel as real as ki if that makes sense. Compared to KI it’s just stiff and boring. Everyday I’m just more impressed with ki and the community

By the way if you see me posting a lot it’s bc I’m just trying to be involved in the forums so if something comes to mind I’m going to post it🤷‍♂️

I don’t know about KI feeling “real”. Generally it’s well animated, although there are some noticeably stiff and kind of awkward animations for T.J., Maya and Riptor.

Between the two, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate being “stiffer” actually makes it seem more “real,” though both games are far from it.

In terms of gameplay, they play very, very differently from one another.
