EVERY engines have limitations. Even Unreal engine 4.
The problem is assuming that Hex engine limitations are huge. They aren’t, otherwise I don’t believe that MS would hire another company(IG) to continue the game developing, and they wouldn’t ever go for a pc port if the engine was so limitating.
Vlad, for real, Hex engine IS this KI. Do you like the game? It’s mechanics? It’s aesthetics(besides minor issues)? If so, you like hex engine
I’m not too sure what that means but I agree with you. This KI in my opinion is way better than MKX, which is on UE4. I haven’t played SF5, the new Tekken, KOF14 or any other new fighting game so I can’t say KI is the best but it is definitely my favorite.
And believe it or not, the 2 things that keep me playing this game are nostalgia and fun gameplay mechanics. Of course I have my problems with some minor things (jago’s new hair, some retros, lack of an arcade mode, perhaps even the character select screen etc.) but at the end of the day, I like this game regardless.
Not for nothing I like the fact that the characters are blackened out until you select them. It makes it look cool to me you’re just being picky. Just saying , I think they should leave it as it is.
The original objection is itself flawed. You want to be able to see what your character looks like before you pick it? Is the thumb nail image not enough? You can see him just fine in the thumb nail, and the actual selection gives the character some style.
