…huh I didn’t know. I watched it on CN a long time ago. How far did that particular game go? Usually games based on anime/manga don’t go toward the end of the series unless it’s made a good while after the end of it. I would be surprised if it had content from blue dragon: tenkai no Shichi ryuu. By the way you should watch the anime. It’s on kissanime and its pretty good.
Gameplay wise Shu with Blue Dragon would be perfect for KI. If you mean his design, you are haven’t seen him redone for Killer Instinct the same way Rash was. I’m sure Iron Galaxy would do a fantastic reimagining for a modern Shu that is in the Killer Instinct universe.
The anime was based on the game. You see Blue Dragon was a game that was created in hopes of being the Xbox’s Dragon Quest. I believe it did well enough for Microsoft in Japan to warrant an anime adaption, they probably also wanted it to push Blue Dragon copies and X360 consoles in the region too.
I’ll check the anime out, but the only animes I really ever enjoy are the Dragon Ball Z and Gundam ones so I ope it has that level of action. You should check out the game, it really has the charm of a classic JRPG but with console visuals.
The anime visuals are very DBZ inspired so if that’s the case you will like it. I honestly didn’t know the game came first. That’s a first in a long time
