Shadow Lords TOO HARD!

If they were pros they would probably have beaten it pre nerf thoughđŸ€”

Nah Pre nerfed was Hard for everyone.

No, you are completely wrong. I’m no pro and there at lot of other casuals that already had unlocked the stage. You don’t need to be a pro to accomplish this, you need to know how to play the game and understand the mechanics of shadow lords, normal mode is as easy as beating computer on easy/normal and challenging starts at normal and goes up to hard, gargos will be at least killer lvl if you do not remove his buffs but removing them all will place him at hard. The tuning atm is good, so don’t try to change it anymore or you will ■■■■■ the game for the others instead look for tips/help or just wait it to be for sale and buy astral plane.

Astral Plane is never going to be for sale and as for challenging going up to hard there is no way. I play or Hard normally and this is way more Harder then that. There is still a lot of people complaining it’s to hard like a lot of people so obviustly it is to Hard for Casuals.

Nonsense, I got stuck in silver and quit playing rank due to losing almost every time, and I still beat gargos on challenging. It’s not easy and it’s not supposed to be. But it’s not impossible. Try harder.

I just beat him but his still to Hard did not have fun at all never playing above normal again.

Just flipout him to death. It’s not that hard.

Yes I know I lost Wulf in this video. Messed up a lot of ender inputs. Bite me.

This is a boss DESIGNED TO KICK YOUR A**. You’re supposed to go to Normal, practice fighting Gargos there, grind money for Killer guardians, THEN move on to Challenging.

I don’t care if there is a stage hidden behind beating Challenging. There was a stage hidden behind Shadow Jago in S1, did you guys complain about him? It takes arguably less time and effort to beat the Omens and skip to Gargos than it does to beat Arcade Mode on Hard with two supremes and ultras (and back in S1 you couldn’t afford to take a loss either). Only thing that makes Gargos more annoying is that you have to beat the Omens each time you lose, but is that really gonna take so much time?

I really don’t wish to sound like I’m talking down to people, but I really wish people would stop complaining. Gargos is hard on purpose.

Look at how your playing you’re obviustly a Pro/Good at the game also Shadow Jago was Different with him Once you got to him you could repeatedly try again with Gagos once you got to him you only get 3 try’s.

I literally beat him by doing the same combo repeatedly. How does that show skill? Can’t say I was doing particularly well in neutral either. And don’t forget that I had NO buffs on myself whatsoever.

Which I said in my post.

To be honest, I used no guardians until Gargos, with 4 buffs removed.

Because I couldn’t feed them, so I grinded Challenging lol

One of my bros. said exactly the same thing you do, nowdays players cannot accept a challenging boss, I have to say that before the adjustments of day 1, I loved how hard Gargos was on Challenging mode (he trully pushed myself to stay determined in winning the battle no matter how many tries it could take), nowdays if I want a hard boss Gargos fight, I have to do it on Godlike. The last Saturday I litteraly bested Gargos on Challenging with Rash with no troubles unlike my first time when he barely depleted Gargos’ green life bar (once again my video on Challenging is there), but on Godlike it was a different (but still enjoyable) experience for me, Godlike mode is no joke (I also uploaded my first Godlike mode Gargos fight victory on my YouTube channel), but at least I’m happy to say I have can Shadow Lords for a long time besides Ranked or Normal/Shadow Lords exhibition matches, etc.

I just completed challenging. I had a Killer Ram, the Mk bots, the epic sword (the one that reduces the cost of shadow moves) and all his buffs removed. All I did was forward heavy punch into light laser, repeatedly with Fulgore. It’s only a matter of time before the AI decides not to block. When it connects, one heavy auto double into DP ender. If the AI decides to shadow counter, you can immediately break it. If he activates stone skin sweep until he explodes. If he gets his minions out, shadow cyber dash to knock them both down to repeat the combo above. I only lost 12% health exploiting the AI. Hopefully this tactic might work for you. Don’t give up, it’s just a matter of time before you achieve what you want.

Well hell if that’s “Pro-Play” then I should be the KI Pro League’s King and Savior.

Seriously, the AI in Shadow Lords sucks at combo breaking; just use a Forerunner for Armor, Snake for Damage or Bat for Healing and Shadow with the damage reduction bots and stay on him and he falls pretty easily.

If you have the snake equipped, my method gets sped up by like 3x. Arbiter takes a life bar in one combo with the Killer one lol

Broke ■■■ ostrich.

Normal is really easy as challenging is still harder then it should be. I get a lot of perfects in normal and get my butt whooped I challenging

I still won, thank you. XP

Gargos on challenging, with all buffs removed is not the equivalent to fighting the CPU on “hard”. That is straight up untrue and completely false. Even with all his buffs removed, aside from shadow lord and whatever the second one happens to be, he is MUCH more difficult than just “hard”.

No, no need to thank me. Just doing my job.

No, his AI is comparable and reacts in the same way that a normal AI on “hard” reacts. But the difference is he has much stronger tools in his moveset than regular character does. But he still has all the same weaknesses a regular Gargos has on hard. Stay in his face, don’t back away, keep pressure on him, sweep his instinct. Keep combos short to avoid breaking (8 or less hits). Knock down minions while moving in to combo.
