Shadow Jago Is OP (Nerf Him)

My point exactly if you want to make a case about something bring some proof to back it up instead of “he’s OP because reasons trust me on this.”

You don’t need the video. If you looked at shagos in game frame data and spent five minutes in training mode you could learn everything that video shows,

If you had no internet you could go to practice mode like this guy did in the youtube video, Make SJ do those moves and then…Wait for it… practice punishing them? LOL

Or since you have friends over(Which i doubt) You can just say “Hey do this move with SJ and block and let me see if i can punish it” You played since 1995 right? That’s how they did it back in the day since there wasn’t youtube videos or frame data LMFAO. Get out of here with that experience BS you’re just trash point blank. I provide this youtube video to people who never seen practice mode in their life (You). Everything you just complained about that you said was OP was punished in that video LOL. You’re so bad, You don’t even know how to practice correctly, LMAO unbelievable.

Again like I said before, Show us someone who won a KI tournament with only Shadow Jago since he’s so broken.. Oh wait, you can’t because there aren’t any LOOOL.

ok ok I’m done.

I will just leave this here for people to think about. We have yet another salty troll thread from someone who has learned that he isn’t as good as he thinks he is. Doesn’t want to talk about moves. Doesn’t want to talk about strategies. Doesn’t need to get better or change anything. The game should change to better meet his expectations of how good he is. He can beat any and all of us at this game or SF - except when challenged to do just that doesn’t respond. Any fool can type “I’m godlike at this game, but Shago is OP.” I want to see you fight @cRCupcake

I fought tons of Shago on my way from bronze to Killer. It’s a funny thing - you see a lot more of them at lower tiers. Because more skilled players have learned to effectively counter him. So he’s not such a great pick. Turns out this is what you do in fighting games - learn to adapt and defeat other players. If the OP wants to learn to play this game better he can find all kinds of advice on these forums, YouTube videos, Infil’s guide etc. He doesn’t want to get better. He’s already top tier in his own mind. He wants all of us to play worse so he wins more and he wants the devs to change the game so he can win more. Behold, the definition of a scrub.

You seriously made an account to type that?

I understand it’s an opinion but you’re starting to remind me of him.

Leave this thread lmao.

Shago is like a Shotgun in Call of Duty. Once someone gets bodied with it, they complain no matter what. #Facts

@FLCrushKid Couldn’t decide what to reply to, so I just tagged you.

Your problem is that you don’t understand his mechanics, and would rather vomit salty poison all over this forum than use your noodle and problem solve. Also, you don’t seem happy that times have changed, and instead of keeping up with your competition you choose to kick and scream in the dust. I’ll address these points separately.

  1. Shago is not recovering and then DPing again, he is spending 1/5 of a bar to “surge” the DP, resulting in two rapid-fire DPs. Same with the double fireball you described. If you were patient and attentive, these things wouldn’t be an issue. He is spending bar AND getting blocked, and somehow you are giving away matches to his mistakes. Now you know what is happening. This brings me to my next point.

  2. It is the Internet Age. This is a fact. Therefore, we have access to FAR MORE information than ever before. It is the burden of the user to acquire and apply information as they see fit. If you refuse yourself access to this immense pool of knowledge that the entirety of your competition has, how can you reasonably expect to beat any of them? You can’t block mid-hitting divekicks and get punished for failing to punish moves that are -40 on block, so your fundamentals are trash. Don’t come at me with that “I’ve played SF forever” crap, it’s irrelevant. You need the Internets help, fella. You’re in a bad way, Jack. Claiming YouTube to be unfair will only keep you down - indeed, HAS only KEPT you down.

Also, though, if you’ve been playing SF since '92, IT COULD BE that you’re just old, and have old man reactions. Maybe it’s time to retire to backgammon, eh? Food for thought.

I think we’re all done here. All that evidence and he still fights a losing battle?
