Shadow Jago for single purchase

I have purchased all season passes w/ retro costumes but do not want to spend 10$ to get shadow jago as a bundle please make him a solo purchase so I can complete the roster, Also wheres the season 3 story mode?

It’s weird that it’s been the better half of a year without a Shago price adjustment.

As to the story, canon S3 characters via Shadow Lords.

Shadow Jago was always part of a bundle of some sort. I don’t expect that to change.

Apparently Shago is included in the Definitive Edition? If you’ve just bought all of your passes right now (or if you just now bought the Supreme Edition or something) you should be able to contact Microsoft, explain your silly mistake, and get them to refund your purchases so that you can buy the Definitive Edition.

Otherwise, I doubt we’re going to see a shift in the price point of standalone Shago anytime soon. Edgy Jago has a fraught history as an exclusive promo skin that got turned into a mechanically distinct character due to community demand, and we’re kinda lucky that we got Microsoft to remove the exclusivity at all. Myself, I just sighed, forewent two coffees (as hard as that was for me), and forked over the extra $5, but what you do is up to you I guess.

Not really. If they had kept him as an exclusive character like he was before he got the “real boy” treatment, he would have been banned from tournament use, so they pretty much had to remove the exclusivity. Plus, you know, there’s not a lot of money to be made on something you only let out to a select few.

Competitive play is what appears to have pushed Microsoft over the line, but I don’t think that a world where Microsoft didn’t give enough of a ■■■■ to risk ■■■■■■■ off the entitled “haves”, or implicitly send a message that exclusives aren’t actually exclusive or whatever, is unthinkable.

I don’t know. I’m not going to stop people from picketing for cheaper Shago, but considering what our edgy boy has been through, I’m of a mind to hang up my hat and call it a day.

I bought SHAGO as a solo purchase for $10 last week. Why are you saying that you need to buy it as a bundle?

I think it’s technically considered a bundle, and comes with some KI gold or something, but I’m too lazy to look it up. OP wants Shago for $5.

So he wants the char in promotional price.

Honestly it’s really not worth the effort. I mean we’re talking about a difference of $5… that will hardly get you a decent afternoon snack anymore, let alone anything of value. And besides that, you can use the KI gold to either speed up XP gain a bit or get a SL pack or 2 for that much, so it’s not like the extra stuff is going to go to waste.

I’m buying the promotional skins with that extra KI gold :jack_o_lantern:

FYI: Just a bit of context…

Shadow Jago has always had a premium price tag. When he first released he was $50. When he was re-released he was part of a $20 bundle.

Getting Shago today for $10 as a part of a “bundle” is the sale price.

I might add the $50 version came with 1 year XBL membership, or rather the other way around, so while he may have been part of the bundle, you really didn’t have to pay extra for him.

…and this is coming from someone who hunted down one of those day-one XBL bundles quite a while after its release (March 2014)

the cost of one character is five dollars. Shadow Jago cost ten because u payed for Jago as well even though he comes with the season one pass

I bought the seasons as they came out but had to wait awhile on the last one but I don’t see them giving me a refund for purchases that expand well over a year just so I can upgrade to the definitive edition for one character

and as for the shadow lords mode being the season three story was kinda what I figured but still would have been better with a single player walk through but I can live with that decision

IC. Maybe in the past this would make sense but since jago now is permanent free it seems shago will cost 10 bucks forever.

No, I wouldn’t expect a refund in that case either. Looks like you have to forego those two extra coffees, dude. It’s not right, but it’s hardly worth getting on a soapbox over.
