Wow … what a bummer..
Really hoping for a Season 4 with a few new original characters or at least completing the missing pieces such as classic costumes for everyone, stage ultras, ultimates and no mercy for all. Then we will finally have the definitive KI experience.
As to someone commenting on how many players are on Steam… meh. Don’t really care. All that matters is how many of us are playing on XB1. We are the ones that from day one have supported the game. Not the Johnny Come Latelys on cross platform.
Totally agree that a Season 4 announcement with Xbox One X and a 4K update would have been sweet!

A new KI makes no Sense for steam users. They just got the Game there.

Look at it this way … and I don’t mean any offense to the Steam players… all 47 of them … but if not for people like me who pre-ordered everything on XB1 from Day 1 - paid that premium price and didn’t sit on the sidelines waiting for the inevitable bargain bin price, would you even be able to play KI on Steam right now? I think not. The game would have failed at Season 1 without the early and devout XB1 adopters.

Some People dont wanna buy a console just for one Game. Lets just say it was a Marketing failure. The steam release was way too late and not in a freemium form. Players who want to support,they would Support(By buying skins and stuff), and we would definetely have bigger player base.
LoL, Dota and even paladins work like that.
KI would be the first “big” fighting game in freemium Form. They would at least make the same amount of money as they did now from steam.
Just my opinion.
