I don’t think a sequel is necessary. If it ain’t broken don’t fix it. Plus, starting from scratch would suck, we wouldn’t get all 26 characters back, and some would not even come back as dlc. For example Mkx is missing noob, baraka, etc. I think its better to continue building on this game, until a next generation console releases.

What would be the draw of a sequel? How do you change the gameplay to make a more compelling game?

Plz give us a sequel. I really don’t know about having another season with how the way the game is going atm imo
I’d like at least one more season. We could have eagle, someone from miras group, a wendigo, an Eyedol affiliate, another alien from glacious race (rushdown glacious), human aria?, guests? So many possibilities.

We could use more content for this KI but not an entire season.

I’m going to vote that I’m going to wait until this season of content actually ends before I start worrying about too much of what comes after.
In the long term, though, I think the Seasonal model is a powerful tool to expand a game’s content. Many games have gone on FAR beyond the shelf life they would’ve had thanks to post launch content. I’d much rather build on the system we have than have to start all over.
If we can iron out the cracks in the current KI and feature creep it in the coming months/years, we could make something great rather than just good.
If/when a KI sequel happens, it should wait until after the current game is closer to obsolescence. KI and WoW have both proven that graphics and models can be redone in a patch, and balance changes/new characters/modes/features can keep the part of the game that actually matters interesting for a long time, doubly so if mod support actually happens.

Everyone starts off in the same playing field, they can start the game off their way rather than having to work on something that double helix did. I remember hearing they said something about them not being able to add more to the training dummy like wake up options.
This game could and should be better in so many ways. I’m voting for a new season because I don’t want to put all the extra work on the devs for making an entire new game.

Season 4 or a full remaster for Project Scorpio if we can’t get Ultimates… I don’t want a sequel, because we’re gonna loose characters and it will be a small cast with probably a new seasonal model…
Season 4
New shortened season and a spinoff action-adventure game with The Night Guard/The Coven/The Disavowed/Thunder/Kan-Ra/Tusk/pre-KI Gargos or Eyedol. So many choices for spinoff that could tell some really cool stories.
Anyone referring to game engines, libraries, APIs or other such tools should explain in some technical detail the benefits of said tools. If you don’t understand it, leave it to people who do, and instead talk about the features you hope will come of it.
Really, though, anyone seeking to dictate to a developer what technologies they should use has a lot of nerve.
