I’ve been hella busy at work. Haven’t been playing more than once a week. Maybe around Christmas I can be more active. Wanfu coming out soon too.

In the corner vs Shizumaru, if you forward throw him against the wall and then HS, Darli’s close HS will come out instead of regular HS. Shizumaru seems to only character this happens to and he can block the close HS. Against all other characters, regular HS comes out if you forward throw against the wall then HS.
Genjuro gives me the most problems. I keep eating Shoryukens.

There will be a big Samsho tournament on Xbox on february. A lot of good players are hoping in. Winner will be granted season 2. I’m very excited about this. Also, we had a tournament yesterday. I won’t my first match, but a blackout took me out of the game.

Good luck with that. Dumb question but what do you mean blackout? As in electricity being down or just not playing well from pressure? honest question.
I have been playing Darli for a few months and will continue but I realize that some matches are too one-sided. Not many but Ukyo and Jubei are just impossible at high levels.
So, I will be putting some time in a new character. Kazuki helps with some of matchups. My main goals are hit confirms with Kazuki into medium to big damage.
But overall, I have been playing too casually and enjoyed it but to beat better players I need to clean up my overall gameplay. Recently found some crazy good Kyoshiro players in Japan, they wreck me just on the basics. Will post a vid shortly.
Yeah, I’m mean the electricity thing. It’s starting to rain here. It happens at the beginning of raining season (not really winter). I only find myself in trouble playing Darli against Basara.

This might help. Generally strong Darli and strong Basara online players (originally arcade veterans)
The Basara player is really good. The Darli one, not so much in my opinion. I pretty sure I play better than this dude.
Funny thing is that at times it’s totally reversed. The Darli player said there not his best games but the vid shows how some try to deal with Basara.
Yesterday I played with this same Basara (Michelangelo) and another Darli/ Ukyo player. I will post this once I get the chance to do so. The Darli/Ukyo (Xotic) could hardly be touched by Basara.
I will be labbing Kazuki for a while as he’s fun. And of course, continue to learn Darli.
