This would be someone who buys something at face value or less just to sell it off immediately for greater than face value.
In this context, the stick was $100 and should someone buy it to sell it and make a dime, I guess that’s no big deal… but I’d rather someone who plays FGs get it for cheap instead.
When this kind of thing snowballs, it gets crazy… the recent Tool concert sold out as soon as tickets went on sale, mostly due to re-sale websites, and now if you want to see the show you end up paying at least $110 for an $80 ticket (the actually decent seats are going for upwards of $300).
