Apparently there’s talk of a new “Quake” game in development and that it will have a female protagonist, which would be pretty interesting imo. I’m curious to know if it will return to that dark Lovecraftian eldritch horror of the first game (I hope it does), or if it will be based around the Strogg from 2 and 4.
What do you guys think? Should Id revisit the Lovecraftian roots of the original? The Strogg? The Vadrigar from 3? Should they combine all those elements? Or should they go in an all-new direction?
