I’d be disappointed if Fulgore, Jago, Kim wu, sabrewulf, Spinal, Hisako and Glacius don’t return for future instalments.
Oh and don’t forget about the stages. They need just as much love in the sequel.

5 Humans 5 Monsters. What seperates KI from other games is that it has monsters in it and can go to those dark places.
Jago: Because it’s like Street Fighter without Ryu
Orchid: Because she’s the main female character. Like Street Fighter without Chun Li.
TJ Combo: Want to see redemption arch completed. Also diversity.
Sadira: This is just a personal pick. Love her and she’s the only original Double Helix Character, preserve her please.
Kim Wu: I love hate Kim Wu. I love her combat hate her looks. If she’s redesigned put her in.
Mira: Exchangable with Kim Wu. Just hope they go all in with the mature rating and make the blood red.
Spinal: First Monster and the best looking imo. His gameplay if reimagined feels like it could go anywhere.
Sabrewulf: You need a wolf if you’re doing a monster game. Popular character just because he looks cool.
Riptor: What other fighting game has a dino in it?
Hisako: The best character in the game.
Kan Ra: Like his design hate how he plays. Maybe a new game can fix him. Plus cool mummy monster.

I think I wouldn’t be able to contain my hype if a new KI was announced. I’d go nuts. I still love the game to death.
As much as I would be hyped I would be heartbroken if my man Kan-Ra won’t make it. He is still my favorite character to play in ANY fighting game. I like that he is very hard to play and that he is a strange mix between keep away, grappler and weird set play.
I also would hate to not have Aganos. This game is full of unique and awesome characters but Aganos is still something special. I have no idea how IG pulled it of to to make him like he is and I’d like to see them do it again.
TBH I like every character in this game and it would be a bummer for any of them to not return.

Season 1: 60 bucks game, include alt skins, colors.

Kim Wu - besides being the chosen, I think she deserves a badass redesign that reflects her journey and her coolness

Spinal - He is OD. Every time someon see’s KI they light up seeing Spinal and wish he was in their main game.

Hisako - See above but also appeals brings in a different variety of players. She is so creepy yet cool!

Fulgore - He is a staple and an awesome take on the shoto style character!

Jago - Speaking of Shoto’s … This is the basic characters to get your feet wet. Though on design I would like Jago to have a move or 2 from Shago and take a darker turn in looks. not Shago levels just like he has seen some sh*t #punishedJago

TJ Combo - His story is a cool redemption but besides that he has really fun gameplay that can be expanded (maybe a few more MMA moves/grapples). I would also like to see him grow more into businessman status maybe rebuilding his gym/neighborhood

Kan-ra - Besides being one of the most interesting new KI characters his trap/ grapple gameplay is something to be envied by any fighting game roster.

Orchid - one of the most fun characters in KI. Besides her story of exposing Ultratech being ripe to be used in many ways to tie much together. Also she is a staple and the first lady of KI (Human lady).

Sabrewulf - I really would love to see some awesome move growth like maybe Sabre takes a cure and his instinct is going full Wulf. It just seems like a cool opportunity for a new/old character in 1.

Maya - It was very hard to choose between Tusk or Maya because I think Maya is one of the best Character Art and gameplay designs in the game but Tusk archetype would round out the roster… So I went with cool though Tusk is cool and his theme

-Jago- Seriously I don’t even play him but it would be like SF without Ryu
-Orchid- Same reason as above but shes the Chun Li of the series
-Hisako- My opinion only, but by far the best of the new characters
-Kim Wu- Given the story of the current game hard to see her not returning
-Fulgore- Because robots with laser eyes
-Spinal- Against all odds, Double Helix made one of the worst OG characters great, and IG modified him in good ways too.
-Sadira- I know I’m in the minority but I love her playsyle
-Saberwulf- Would be cool to see what his continued experiments on himself would make him in the future
-Glacius- New zoning Glacius is great
-Riptor- because dinosaurs

KI 4 could be the ascension of Mira’s vampire clan, the Tsar arc. My ideas for the 10 returning chars would be:
Maya
Mira
Jago
Orchid
Kan-Ra
Aria
Saberwulf
Kim Wu
Fulgore
Eagle
The story could be that the Tsar begins his onslaught against the Earth, attacking a weakened Ultratech after Gargos’ attack. He sends Mira and his other servants to do well-placed attacks on several locations, crossing ways with Jago, Kim Wu, Fulgore and Eagle. Aria and Kan-Ra also fights them, in they respective paths, and make their own plans to anihilate the Tsar and take his power and knowledge of alchemy. Maya fights Mira alongside Orchid, and during the fight, Maya gets infected by Mira’s blood, and Mira says it is a matter of time until ‘we be reunited again’. Mira vanishes, and Orchid offers to help Maya to find a cure. Maya remembers that Saberwulf’s family has clues about a ‘vampire alchemy’ and they set journey to find Saberwulf, who is almost insane. It’s a bit rough, but i think it could be good.

TJ Combo. He’s my all time favorite and has a unique fighting style. Must return.
Jago. The hero. The Ryu of KI. Must return.
Fulgore. The true poster boy and just awesome. Must return.
Spinal. See Fulgore above. Part of KI’s identity.
Orchid. The top female in the series. Another poster child.
Kan-Ra. One of the great villains.
Aganos. Truly unique and visually stunning.
Hisako. One of the coolest female fighters in any game.
Sabrewulf. I’m not a fan, but definitely a character you think of when you think of KI.
Glacius. See Sabrewulf above
Those are my 10. Obviously Cinder, Thunder, etc… should return too. I think Gargos and Eyedol’s stories are wrapped up for now. And none of the existing guests should return.

I wrote these 10 without influence of reading others before
- jago the poster boy/ Star you could never not have jago. Still waiting on the training/ monk years bald/ avatar-like alternate jago costume
-Kim Wu more for play style diversity/ demographic than anything
-glacius or some alien form related to his story or not related to his story
-orchid a chance each time to enhance her style and mechanics
-thunder diversity/ style
-spinal I’d say he’s just annoying and fun at the same time. That’s needed in fighting games
-maya style newer costume update with 2014 maya costume as alternate
-fulgore or some variant to fulgore that pulls from Kilgore & 2013 fulgore
-a new rylai clan assassin who overthrows Sadira ( new costume & subtle tweaks)
-sabrewulf that changes form like beast/ Wolverine ( think haggar/ hulk) his main character form is human but his instinct gives him sabrewulf look & switches him to grappler territory like the Russian from sfv
The best thing is, I feel the MECHANICS of this game need not much tweaking. Moves & specials will jaw-dropping with new rigs and sculpts and an overall character costume upgrade…

I feel like these are characters that have influenced the plot and story greatly. Especially people like Kim Wu, who has had a super strong presence in S3 as the lead protagonist. So, I feel it would make sense going forward to add these people in a hypothetical New KI.

As if I didn’t love these characters enough (1,2, and 3) I love them even more after reading the comics, most especially Kim Wu. The comics so far really did the character justice.

Presumably if KI4 is after Gargos’ defeat, they should focus on the secret organisation ARIA has been tailing: The Coven.
So if I was to choose 10 characters out of the current list of fighters, it would be:
Jago - It wouldn’t really be KI without him. He joined The Alliance to help defeat Gargos and ARIA would have told him and his sister their family backgrounds, so I would like to see his life after that.
Orchid - Same reason as above, but I guess she would still be keeping tabs on Ultratech and the new threat of The Coven.
Kim Wu - One of the characters I play, so a bit of bias there. She would have learned a lot from the whole Gargos experience, but I can’t really think much about what her role would be in the story. Perhaps she opens a dojo?
ARIA - Chasing after The Coven. Ultratech would have gotten some good publicity dealing with the Gargos threat. Unless it was revealed that ARIA lured the Astral Lord to earth in the first place but I guess Kan-Ra would have gotten the wrap for that.
Cinder - Doing what ARIA is doing, except under orders.
Sadira - Would probably work with The Coven to spite Ultratech and her general hunger for power would have something to do with that as well. She did accept Omen’s offer to join Gargos after all.
Maya - Doing what ARIA is doing, but on her own terms. Probably feels like dealing with her sister is something she must do. Perhaps she recruited some new Night Guard members too?
Mira - After failing to acquire Gargos’ power after his defeat, the Tsar has a backup plan and gives Mira and the rest of the Coven members new missions. She would be fairly active I presume.
Riptor - Gotta eat them vampires… Vampirism isn’t contagious right? Might just have to toast them instead.
Fugore - The bot that has awakened its human side. Want to see where the story goes with him. Hopefully ARIA doesn’t just lobotomise him and turn him back into evil killer bot.
