I have yet to hear a good reason why I should avoid a tournament. While I care about what other people think of me, I also can easily push those feelings aside if theyāre not well supported.
I am avoiding this tournament because the last one left a bad taste in my mouth. It was probably cause of the streaming fiasco, but when I was playing my matches I was thinking to myself that I just wanted to finish it quickly so I wouldnāt have to deal with it anymore. I didnāt really have much fun because of that.
No problem with the participants knowing their character.
Letās assume that Iām doubtful about entering the tournament. Now I see this. Two more people enters the tournament. Letās say Glacius and Shago are still avaible. If I main both of them, I would enter now, effectively choosing character, and destroying the āRandomā component of the tournament, since Iām essentially picking my characters
Character assigment its ok. Itās good for players to know their character. But making it public helps no one. I would put it private for the non participants
There is: he doesnāt feel like it. If he does then of course there isnāt, but until then if he isnāt fancying signing up that is unfortunate but fine.
