Letās address these points and have a civil discussion. No bias, no insults, no hate, etc.
The same people always participate. Ok how do you want to fix this? If you entered the previous tournament then you canāt enter this one? I donāt think that is fair. Currently, the system to enter is first come first serve. Those who enter early gets the spot. This results in by the time new players who are interested heard that sign ups are open, all the spots are taken. Perhaps we can have a randomizer where
everyone can sign up but no one is actually guaranteed a spot. Letās say sign ups last from (insert date) to (insert date) and anyone can sign up in between. If we have more than 26 players signed up after the sign up time ends, then randomly, 26 players are chosen. This can address the first two points and the last one. Yeah we almost never get over 50 viewers. Do you have any idea how we can? This isnāt an official tournament. We arenāt going to get the amount of views as we want. The best way is for IG/MS to actually advertise the tournament in the KI advertisement thing that pops up every time something new appears.

I donāt think we should close this thread just yet. I think we should post the stuff that went wrong here and what can be done to improve V5 here. Then we can actually discuss what is going on in V5 in the V5 thread. Letās not let this spread to the V5 thread.

I like your random participant idea - I would support it.
As for more viewers, thatās purely advertising. Social media is key here. Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, etc. You could require that all participants share the event through at least 1 form of social media outside of the forums, I suppose. Meanwhile, the people running it could make their own advertising, such as a commercial of sorts. @PVXenoraptorās character poster and logo were a great step in that direction, I think.

It amazes me how the people want to take primordial decitions about the tournament rule.
This is @PVXenoraptor 's tournament. His rules. He can listen to us, and he will, of course, because he wants to improve it.

Yeah, thatās true, but as a participant, I know what I want, and Iām letting it be known. Not very tactful, I know, and I apologize for that, but I donāt see the point of doing things like making a cool poster or logo if you werenāt trying to expand the event. Sure, itās fun, I suppose, but if thatās all itās for, then IMO, itās a waste of time and energy.
So how do you feel about the idea of random sign up? You sign up and if more than 26 people sign up, 26 will be chosen randomly.
I already said I liked it above. Iām going to move over to the other thread now, but I want @PVXenoraptor and others to give what Iāve said some serious thought. So far, as the tournament organizer, he hasnāt said much of anything on the matter. Weāll continue this over at V5 or in PMs.
As for Discord, I donāt use it, soā¦ Thatās a problem.
