Kan Ra and Gargos are really the only two that can really shut down RAAM. Jago can cause trouble, but can be beaten out by patient forward walk. Surprisingly, Hisako is an extremely tough MU. I digress as he’s still new to the cast.
So how do you exploit raam’s weakness?
Keep him away as long as possible.
Seriously, the hardest matches I’ve had are with a player beamed Freaky Jason and H3ro of Time. His Jago is out of this world. I’ve had the upper hand with a few zoners who can’t keep up the Kryll cancels.
I thought so too, until I fought a certain Jago that managed to out zone me almost completely. because the kryll shield gives both players meter as though RAAM blocked, Jago earns tons of meter to shut down the shield the moment he wants to cancel into a shadow move.
I would also add Cinder to the list, that is one rough match-up.
