Question aboit locked out characters

When putting together a team, Kim-Wu and Tusk have some locked out characters…didnt the beta also have some other characters with locked out characters…I can remember not being able to pick Maya and Mira for example…I liked this…it highlighted character relationships. Perhaps no Aganos and Kan-Ra, or Jago and Shago, etc…untill you later get a chance to recruit them after dukong it out…

Anyways, am I imagining this or was this changed and who else would like more of this…

Once you’ve completed the story stuff between those characters, it becomes possible to recruit them in the next playthrough. If you played the Beta, chances are you already unlocked all or at least some of the character relations.

That makes sense…would be nice to be able to turn it back on to see who is locked for which character to figure out who has a story
