I think I may have found a source of inspiration for that puppet show Chiharu had watched as a kid. There’s a kabuki play called “Yotsuya Kaidan” by Tsuruya Nanboku IV, but the date for it is 1825. I don’t know if that was the particular story the KI devs used or were just using that as reference for a made up puppet show of their own, but I just thought you guys might be interested in hearing about it.
