Well…devastation beam can only punish the L and shadow versions of portal punch. The M and H versions are only -6. So their safe.

Use it to continue pressure after going for a mix up. Say you go for the high low reapings, you cancel them into shadow bats, if the mix up hit you get a nice chunk of unbreakable damage and a free manual. If the mix up was blocked then you get to continue your pressure and go for a second mix up while they’re stuck in blockstun. You can basically go ham with several mix ups in the same blockstring if you’re willing to spend the meter.

Yeah, shadow blood seekers just lets you lock down the opponent for free off any medium or heavy poke (try st.MP xx shadow bats), medium reaping (there is a gap between heavy reaping and shadow though), and light trephine. They’ll let you instinct cancel and then set out vampire mist for free (and still get pressure), you can make some mixups safe, and you can get a free in at any time you want by doing light trephine xx shadow blood seekers.
Because Mira builds so much meter with her pressure, you should be dumping some of it into shadow bats pretty regularly to just keep your opponent locked down.
