For the retro costume I hope they go for an elegant Vampire look. You know the Tux and castlevania style elegance. Just hope they don’t make the retro similar to how they handled Sadira, Kan Ra, and Jagos costume which just look like cheap knock off parody costumes you buy for holloween. A lot of the retros look like they were intetionally made to have less detail and look bland.

He’s from Los Angeles. The style itself derives from European goth-punk/industrial fetish-fashion style. So not sure where you get the whole JRPG from, other than, yes, there are some JRPGs which are inspired by the same style.

That’s not JRPG exclusive though. Dolls exist all over the world, sweety. 
Maybe for a creepy marionette doll character.
But for a vampire? Nah.
The funny thing about those pictures is that people on here are complaining they don’t want a female vampire character because she would be super sexualized or something. Those pictures are a lot more sexualized than any other vampire character I have seem before. I actually would feel very embarrassed if my parents walked in on me looking at those pictures.

Oh, I have absolutely no problem with sexualization of characters. I’m definitely no prude. As long it’s for both male and female characters. So I’d love seeing a male character like what I posted above. 
Eh, that’s cool. Just was hoping you weren’t one of those dudes who hated a sexualized female character and then suddenly pick those male vampires.
That would be hypocrisy. I don’t condone that. I am biased though, as I would rather look at a sexualized guy than a girl.

I’m not a fan of the style of the posted pics, although I wouldn’t complain if they put a toned down version in the game (i.e. if he pulled his pants up and didn’t grab at his crotch). It’s very anime looking from a character design standpoint, in my opinion (and yes I saw that the dude is from LA - but even so). Not sure why he is wearing platform boots either, but whatevs…
For the record, I am opposed to hyper sexual depictions of female characters too - and although I don’t want to derail the thread, I still believe the argument that “as long as it’s equal opportunity it’s okay” is flawed.
Yes, don’t ya just love the “If you don’t like hypersexual characters in fetish gear then you a childish prude” people.
I don’t mind skin but I do mind nonsensical outfits. (*gasp, I’m a prude! lol)
