I wondered why Hisako’s VA was going to KI con. This is kind of coincidental, but conveniently coincidental if it were Chiharu and had a similar voice.
Hisako is going to be the Mario of this game, with Chiharu as Dr. Mario

Things to take from this Twitter message. Confirmation that is a Remix character meaning an existing character will most likely be the base like Kilgore. Secondly he said “we’ll be showing THEM off.” Them as in plural meaning there will be more than one Remix character but if we look at the above thread I think Rukari at one point said the last character would not be Remixed. Isn’t there only two slots available in char select? If this is true (haven’t gone to play KI in a while) then it’s confirmation that the final non remixed character will take the last spot and that the next Remixed character hisakos father is accompanying some one else. That’s where the Plural “Them” comes from. If my theory is character then the below image would be a representation of how Them will look. But who will be the base character?
Am I going crazy?

@rukizzel just said a couple posts up that “them” is in the ambiguous third person tense as in “saying he or she gives too much away so we to say 'them”. Them doesn’t indicate a dual character… or does it, lol? But seriously probably not. I’m just hoping that regardless of gender we get at least accessories to make them look like a ceremonially armored Samurai if they aren’t already. A Bishamon-style samurai with a remix of Hisako and Spinal moves and abilities (but of course remixed in a unique way) would be ideal to me. I say those two because I play them both alot and they feel very compatible both having teleports and being extremely mixup heavy. A teleporting, parrying, rekka slashing/iaijutsu using Samurai would be truly awesome and Hisako is almost all of that already being a Samurai with a naginata instead of the katana(s). I’m really looking forward to this character but I don’t want to overhype and accidentally disappoint myself though, lol.
You looked at the above thread, but missed this.
I mean, I’m down with the idea of a Zappa-like character in KI, but its more likely to be one character.

Them and they are also used as gender non-specific way to refer to someone or something. To quote my handy dandy dictionary:
“used with a singular indefinite pronoun or singular noun antecedent in place of the definite masculine him or the definite feminine her”
Besides. They already confirmed it’s a remix character, so I don’t think they’d (plural in this case) work a completely separate archetype into it. If Shago and Kilgore are anything to go by, the current basis for remix characters is “Let’s make the opposite of the base character.”
So what’s opposite of Hisako? Really fast walk, less focus on countering and more focus on pressure offensive stuff… perhaps rather than focusing on making the opponent afraid, it lulls then into a false sense of security?
A) I called for a shaman king like char months ago
B) If this char is a puppeteer, I will need clean trousers
C) Still may be only a way to be not descriptive, but using “it” could seal the deal, so using “them” seems like an unnecessary complication
D) I’m ordering a new pair of trousers, just in case

I just hope this katana wielding character won`t be another creepy zombie, make him look and behave normally, eventually make him glow or somethin.

??? Yeah I don’t think so. Maybe im just hung up on the novelty of the idea. I’d have to see the finished product, and it would have to be dern impressive.

Hisako can bite. Her father also may was able to. he has a katana. What is left after the battle looks like a shark attack. I know it is not happening. just saying
