Ive been playing glacius for awhile as my.main and have played to killer leauge using him, my.friends also use him too. And I’ve come to the sudden realization this “long range zoner” is one of the best tanks in the game. I’ve been winning and losing games with glacius because of his instinct and his damage. And I’ll tell you I’m getting really tired of winning or losing in 4 combos. I literally rock the enemy for half the game and a glacius gets one combo on me and gets rid of 67% health. This is either becAuse of his instinct or the fact that.he does way to much damage. It’s not fun to play with him or against him. I want a rework to make him what he is supposed to be.

Firstly, demands probably aren’t the best way to get any sort of motion passed.
Secondly, being able to do huge damage in KI isn’t unique to Glacius. Ending a match in 4-5 combos if you make the right choices and/or your opponent makes a few mistakes is actually incredibly commonplace, has been since the game’s inception.
Thirdly, Glacius isn’t exactly a typical zoner. One of his primary openers is actually a command grab. He’s been described more than once by the devs as both a premier zoner and a grappler. In fact, some of his best tools are those used up close or in the corner.
Fourthly, his instinct was recently buffed for a reason. They improved his instinct to make it a more viable tool. Powerful instincts are always there for a reason. At the start of Season 3 they buffed Glacius quite a bit, and they’ve tweaked him ever since. Even in today’s patch they balanced a damage nerf to the linker version of Shadow Cold Shoulder by buffing the opener version’s damage. Clearly Glay Glay’s damage is intentional as well.

As @Fwufikins said, demands don’t help. Also what does dealing damage have to do with a tank? A tank soaks up damage. How does instinct do more damage. Feel free to use this format to better communicate your concerns.

Not to be a jerk, but fwufikins is right. Every character in the game can end a match in 4 or 5 combos, even Kilgore “who I am using now in SL mode”. I can win with 4 combos using any character in the game. Using my main Riptor, I can do 70% and above combos with just one lockout. That is also without using Instinct. Using lockouts and counter breaks, I can do it with just 2 combos. Although doing it with just 2 combos requires luck, and the perfect setup.
I think the problem you are having is that you and your friends are not combo breaking correctly, that is causing a lockout that is resulting in big damage. If you and your friends are combo breaking correctly, then combo damage should not get that high.
Not to be mean, but when i think of big damage characters, Glacius doesn’t come to mind.

They changed that remember.
It’s still unblockable, and can still be avoided by jumping. That’s a grab.
Even if it has projectile properties now so Proj. Invulnerable moves can beat it, it’s still a grab, for all intents and purposes.
I still say it’s a projectile. I mean riptors flame carpet is a projectile yet it can be jumped.

It can also be blocked, which shatter cannot be
Almost every move in the game can be jumped over or blocked to avoid them, barring grabs. If you can block it, it’s not a grab.
Shatter, even if it has projectile properties, is still unblockable, and still whiffs you if you are in hit or blockstun, just like a grab.
For all intents and purposes, when dealing with shatter, it should be treated as a grab, with the extra weakness that Projectile Invulnerable moves beat it out.
HI friend i have the right solution for you!!! just drop him and play SADIRA ( i think you would enjoy open open 7 to 8 some 9 time for kill) + endless combat till timer up and you lose because youve been too much carefull. and just let peoples enjoy glacius as good counter pick to other damager characters
