Movies/TV/Books that remind you of KI

So, I am an extremist, I tend to obsess over things I enjoy, until they either completely consume me or I just run out of ways to consume them. I both enjoy & resent this particular personality trait, but that’s another conversation for another time.

I am in love with the world/lore of this game. I find myself looking for examples in popular media that remind me of KI & its story, and pretending that the story is taking place in the KI universe, for example the new show “Incorporated” on Syfy, I am totally telling myself that it is basically an inside look at Ultratech, or a world where Ultratech is just beginning.

How about you guys? Anyone else out there as obsessed as I am? Any really great shows/movies or worlds you can share that resemble or remind you of KI? I hope I’m not the only one who does this. :stuck_out_tongue:

I used to think about that too, but I don’t remember much. I had this crazy idea of Ultratech’s soldiers training in simulators (war machines and vehicules, like planes and weapons). So I would believe I was training myself playing Star Wars Trilogy arcade competing with this “ficticius soldiers”. Of course the characters/stories were all in my head. So far I remember a world pretty gritty, relaying too much in technology and little space for relationships or humanity. Also loves drawing creatures like biomanipulation for that story. I invented one character that had ant genes. It was a Wereinsect, it was kind of cool.

But right now I can’t remember a story from books or movies. It may come later XP
