Mass Effect 3 had an amazing soundtrack. Best tracks for “melodic” though, would have to be Tracks 18 (I Was Lost Without You), 21 (I’m proud of You), and 22 (An End, Once and for All). Honorable mentions to A Future for the Krogan and the end of Track 8, Ardat Yakshi. Loved the hell out of that series and game :3 And super-hyped for Andromeda
Halo ODST’s soundtrack was interestingly jazzy. Not the best in the Halo franchise by a wide margin, but very unique and solid overall.
Ecco the Dolphin on the Dreamcast had one of the most peaceful ■■■■ soundtracks I’ve ever heard. That game literally could put me to sleep while I was playing it, not because I was bored (lost maybe, but not bored), but because the music was just so darn soothing
I disagree. I think ODST’s was probably the best out of the Halo series. Then again, we are talking about musical taste, something that no one can absolutely agree on.
Lol. True enough. My favorite Halo soundtracks are probably Halo 2 and Halo 4. I REALLY liked some of the tracks from 4 (Green and Blue was incredible), and Halo 2 gave us some of the most iconic renditions of the halo theme.
The ones I mentioned were really close =)
But what I mean with this is no game has ever come close to the emotional state a movie can give to me. I cried quite much with some movies. Maybe is because the passive aspect of watching the movie, maybe when you are in the game you are focused again in what you have to do, you don’t have time to process what’s happening. At least that’s what I feel it happens to me.
I go to play a little of Last of Us (no spoilers) and the first part left me with a sour taste, but wow, it was harsh. For now I couldn’t keep on playing because I don’t have a PS4 or 3.
This reminded me how much I enjoyed going to the cinema to watch movies, the seventh art n.n
lmao, speaking of tear jerkers. “im moving on, moving so far away…” haha noooo please come back, i promise i wont double perfect and triple ultra you again!
