I figured the word gay was censored because it is often used as an insult.
For example: “Stop acting so gay! Maybe if you’d try Kan Ra you’d see he’s not so easy to win with!”
Sadly, in this context it’s synonymous with ‘jerk’ or ‘idiot’. (Also not censored, I see.)
If it’s off the naughty list, that’s fine too. I believe that getting offended is a deliberate choice.
No word that can adequately and accurately describe an individual or group of people in normal conversation should ever be censored.
