I thought that was how you learned to play the game. About to get to the Arcade Boss, and someone comes up to wreck you. Then, you think on how to get better and beat this guy, making yourself better in the process. At least the way I thought of it as a kid.

i always dreaded when āAceā would show upā¦no one could beat his TJ comboā¦no one. I practiced my asss off for 1 year when the Nintendo version came out. One day he came in, thought he was gonna wreck me as usualā¦ I nearly perfected his asss with air combos and all kinds of stuffā¦ Never seen him again.
that was a major mile stone for me with KIā¦ I learned a lot watching that guy play. I felt like I had climbed a mountain. it was awesome!

When I was first dipping my toe into the FGC (into FGs, to be honest, no community interaction whatsoever) I wasnāt looking to learn how to play other people, just to enjoy getting behind the stick and dishing out a beating.
Building skill, habits, and strategy wasnāt what I was interested in, it was just mashing the CPU to pulp for the fun of it.
Today is certainly a different story, but weāre talking about a difference of about 18 years since I first started playing fighting games, as far as I can remember.
Vocally she sounded like a young girl-
Visually she was part of the ki2 triplets where Orchid Maya and she all had the same face and breast/ hip ratio ( although I realize Maya was abut more slender in the hips)
I bought the 17 yo story because of her youthful vocal work!
