Kim Wu with a bit of K-Pop

She may get an alternate costume k-pop style. But I thought of her stage music to have a k-pop vibe.

Fireball: Like Jago’s endokuken
Diagonal Air Fireball: Like Akuma’s /Gargos’ air fireball
Fireflower: like Kan-Ra’s scarabs
Double Kick: like Jago’s windkick
Super Dragon punch: like Jago’s Shadow tiger fury (required full superbar)
Double Whip: like Jago’s laser sword
Roll Forward: like Maya’s or TJ
Split Kick: It worked as a long distance overhead and also immune o projectiles, so I don’t know which move I could relate it to in the new KI. If any, to Tusk’s skullsplitter.

Sooo… I’d say Kim’s old moveset is problematic. She has three types of fireball, three shoto utilities and a dodge move. I don’t see her keeping all of this stuff. I think she will be a zoner oriented shoto (yet that would make her similar to Fulgore). She’s clearly not pure rushdown, I don’t see her becoming a grappler and I don’t think she’ll be zoning much because people wants to taekwondo-kick faces with her.

My guess is that she will have mid range zoning tools oriented to open up the oponent so she can get in with the nunchuks and kicking. Maybe a mid screen vanishing fireball like Chun-Li or Dan.

Easy way to solve this is like wha they did with Orchid; make some of her moves shadow moves.

I would picture Kim Wu’s stage music to be a mix of Chinese kung fu & k-pop, since she’s Chinese-Korean.

It can fit, can it?

She can be mixed as both cute, sexy and as a fierce Bruce Lee-kung fu fighter!

What is it with people wanting Kim-Wu to have some K-pop influence? It think she is better off just sticking to her roots. I just don’t understand the K-pop.

Probably because she is part Korean and Kpop along with dance groups are extremely popular in Korea. There is even a huge Kpop festival here in California where a bunch of Kpop fans come and have fun. I don’t think her theme will have kpop but since she is a young college student and I believe Adam said she was a design major or something she must have come across kpop at one point in her life. With this in mind am guessing Kim Wu is of traditional martial arts up bringing but she wants and lives a modern life of a Korean teen since her major isn’t exactly traditional. Think of Gohan, sure he is brought up as a hero with a martial arts background but his life in highschool is more of what I see Kim Wu living on a day to day.

Also what’s with all the hate? Orchids theme is straight up pop and its fine even though it doesn’t go with her military theme.

Ishmae1 never said she would be a collage student he simply stated “A guardian can’t go to college?” as a possibility a possibility I doubt will become true.

As for Orchid she was designed from the very start as a rave girl giving her rave/dance music is sticking to her roots, giving her a heavy metal ,rap, classical or ect theme wouldn’t seem right just like giving Kim Wu a k-pop theme wouldn’t.
