Jago definitely seemed to be the most reliable option when I played, but that’s probably just because he’s Jago.
Though Shadow Jago proved to be really nasty, too. No one seemed to be able to properly deal with his shenanigans 100% of the time. Some people couldn’t handle the ninja slide, others were done in by the tele-dive, and occasionally simple fireballs did the trick.
Kan-Ra did me some good, of course. Being able to preemptively put up blocks to people’s approach is quite nice, especially when only 1 person I fought today remembered to wack the swarms away. Lol
I think I’ve found my online bread and butter. I’ll still continue my quest for 50 across the cast, but now that I’ve got gold rank and all 32 dojos done I should work on improving myself.
How about the Golden Goof?

So which Aganos would you like to have kill you 1st?
The Mountain Man?
The Great Stone Dragon?
The Golden Dragon?
The Bully?
Mish-Mash?
The Bruiser?
Mine Tank?
The Golden Gear?
The Gladiator?
The Gas Man?
Tesla’s Masterpiece?
Decide! Then watch helplessly as you fall before him… MWAHAHAHA!!!

Wait… You can delay moves? I thought the timing with manuals was strict! And now you’re telling me you can delay them? And linkers too? I want to see that!
Congrats on gold tier, but I feel I must warn you. The road to Killer is even harder…
I should know - I’m still making my way there…
Well done, look forward to fighting you soon.
The cancel window for some auto-doubles into linkers can be stretched really late. You can use it to bait lockouts sometimes, but it almost looks like the character returns to neutral after doing an auto-double, and then suddenly they’re doing a linker.
You can also do this to kill time in between rounds if you’re trying to waste someone’s instinct out.
First of all - I remember that movie and heartily approve of that post.
Second of all:
You are now officially a scumbag, and I wish nothing but bad things upon you and your killer instinct experience.
Congrats on the gold though!
I meant the trio of characters mentioned in the post, so Jago, Shaggy, and Kan Ra
Ah. In that case, I wish the best upon your Jago, and utter ruin upon your Kan
You hate Kan-Ran as well? Seriously I hate that guy.
And Scooby Snacks upon my Shaggy?
Ha, I think I’ve discovered my new favorite nickname for Shadow Jago.
“Like, I’m afraid your path ends here, man!”

Yep. By far my least favorite character in the game. Gets waaay too much off unbreakable projectile damage, and has way too many lockdown->50/50 setups. If you’re playing a really good Kan, you basically don’t get to play, and almost none of what he’s doing is even breakable.
In general, I hate fighting against characters who get to come and go as they please (Kan with sand, Maya’s super jumps). And the dislike is compounded If they’re primarily projectile based, as it means Hisako is largely forced to sit there and just take the mix-up.
Lol. Nope. Kinda hate Shago as well to be honest
He’s an awesome character to watch, and I really like his style and the aesthetics of what he does, but I find him really tedious to fight to be honest. Teleport dash is pretty annoying (disappear into 50/50 DP/throw mix-up? really?), and surges generally throw off counter timing just enough that he’s actually fairly difficult to properly counter.

For me and my Aganos, fighting the Kan is like merely playing in a sandbox - fight him and see what happens to your ant hill…
Yeah, I’m sure you’d rock my world XD
I’m not even a good Kan-Ra, per se, I just know that there are people have a hard time dealing with his Shenanigans so he’s usually a pretty safe fallback.
The timing is VERY STRICT…but if you got it down, you got it down and it looks easy, but its not.And when your getting hit with it its confusing because the timing throws you off and the sound of the hits being delayed throws you off as well. Your brain is like “I dont recognize this sound pattern, whats happening here?”
Like Infill said…its a long drawn out combo too… so if you kill your opponent at the end of the 1st round and want to continue the combo for as long as possible to drain there instinct timer…its a smart move if you can pull it off.
these are the 2 guys Ive seen do it.
Hype-Blaze (thats the Jago guy)
Master Stone (Thats the Kan-ra guy)
You’re really confident with your Aganos…
