John Tobias, who made the game, was the lead character designer of Mortal Kombat before leaving the MK team… he then made Tao Feng. The character designs were… well, some of them were likable and interesting. But the gameplay was horrendous, imo.
It’s probably been covered in this thread ad nauseum, but preordering Season 3 before launch gives you the 18,000 KI Gold immediately.
While IG has blatantly stated Gold will have other uses in Season 3, I’d be wise not to spend it on anything before release. Not everyone has all characters at Level 50, so I’d be careful not to be lured into buying any S2 Colors you might be wanting. Several signs point to additional Retro Colors or standard Character Colors being released outside of Level Unlocks and the Ultimate Source figures.

If you’re using the Xbone store on your console:
Search for killer instinct, select Ki, then go down to add-ons. Then scroll to the right and select “see all”.
If you scroll all the way down, it should be there.
It’s really hard to find even in the US store. You have to go to the “add ons” section. I can’t say anything definitive about the European store.
It wasn’t. Although I did find season 2 ultra edition with the S3 picture.
Thanks, bro I’ve been lurking for like 2 months. But all the waiting is crazy I get it but sheesh. Side note I’m not huge on the level 4 enders, I don’t mind the price or guest characters and don’t see a real need 4 ultimates but I do get the appeal. But I’d would love stages finishers on a few more stages. Just my 2 cents.
