Like what I am reading so far. And I am guessing one of the playable characters will be Eagle, or The perfect fighter(Having Tj, Orchid, Jago, Thunder, and Maya’s DNA). Hopefully Story wise Tj gets to defeat the strongest (again Story-wise) villain, and show the world again what the name TJ COMBO truly bears.

Eagle would be interesting as a character; I can see a few different ways they could build him into something unique.

What I can’t decide is if this chapter is a hint towards Eagle being playable this season, or simply additional lore, seeing as other background characters like Ryat and Dr Gupte were mentioned, too.

We were told that there won’t be any more information drops about characters until E3(or at least “for a while”) so I’m torn about the meaning behind Eagle’s appearance in this chapter.

I think that if there’s a season 4 then he’d be in there that way we don’t have completely random new characters and guest characters.

The difference between Gupte/Ryat and Eagle is that Eagle is a fighter in the lore, where as the other 2 were background characters who helped to develop fighters either inderectly or directly. Unless IG/MS are going to do the Bosconovich route, I don’t see Gupte or Ryat, or other characters of their ilk making it into the KI roster.

Technically this wouldn’t qualify as an “information drop” as this is just the novella. This doesn’t hold the same weight as a press release or a dev announcement, but still (IMO) it is telling. Just like how people speculated about Mira being a playable character when Maya’s backstory brought her into the lore, I think the same will be done here. There will be a twist though, Eagle won’t be the same as he was before he was taken by UT. IG/MS’s character designs are crazy so I don’t think they will go vanilla route with him.

Here is a theory:

I think Eagle may posess some power. Why? Although a huge portion of his style and memories were taken, copied and uploaded into a Fulgore unit, she did not use all of it so if she needs more data she can go back to the source (Eagle) to ‘steal’’ more. kinda like a well

Mira and Maya are fraternal twins explaining why they have one or two moves that resemble not the same moves. Jago and Orchid are half siblings that grew up separate with different fighting styles however they do possess the same energy different names jago refers to his as tiger spirit orchid refers to hers as firecat (reason for Omen to possess her to create Shorchid, another story)Thunder and Eagle are full siblings they grew up together and recognizes their fighting techniques, although their styles very much differ, they spent years learning their moves.

I think he may be 100% playable. I imagine if He escaped he may still be weakened but I think somehow Glacius might help renew his strength and is in hiding for a time or until he is found by Thunder. something like that.

He may not be, look at Combo, he was regular human but UT not only outfitted him with the implants (he removed) but they messed with his DNA (kinda giving Him a healing factor) aside from that, Eagle may have his DNA tampered with in someway, IDK maybe have Fulgores blades, or Fulgores Beams, something but he will not be the same Eagle Thunder knows thats for sure. OR he was so ‘precious’ to ARIA she had that "If it ain’t broke don’t fix it " mentality and left him physically unscathed just had his brain waves copied.

I can totally see Eagle as a cyborg character, with some cool implants like Genos from One punch man. The difference with Tj is that Tj doesn’t use any technology as weapon, only his body.

Eagle could have kickboxing and wrestling moves potencied by some of Ultratech inventions

Member of the Disavowed and TJ Combo wife will all be playable characters
