I know this is an old thread but I find the Aganos match-up very rough. It’s good if I can get an HKD but otherwise what a nightmare. Can’t cross him up because of size, his buttons are all longer and harder hitting and with a bar he can punch through my maze of fireballs. Help!
Wait for a mistake and shadow through to get chunks off. Use lots of standing heavy kick and heavy punch to keep him at bay and knock chunks off. Dont get to fireball heavy if he has meter as you said he will punch right across the screen and through your balls. I like to bait the punch out by doing a light fireball or just a standing normal to trick and bait.

You mean with shadow slide?
I’ve added iDoMusic4Media to try and get a match. My post above was because TigerSpirit (a Jago specialist having fun w/ Aganos, I guess) beat me 10-0! Granted, I hadn’t played KI in a while, but I felt pretty hopeless.
It can be slide or kicks… whatever takes off the chunks in one move. Bait out the super punch by making them think you are going to put balls on the screen… just hit MP once you create distance and you feel he is going to try and catch you… punish his whiffd punch.
Also once he is knocked down with no chunks just disrespect the hell out of him on wake up. Cross up air dash, land with a low instead of a mid, shadow form,whatever it takes to open him up on wake up.
