What do we need another character for?
Some are forgetting that Microsoft mostly had the final word of Rash, Arbiter and RAMM, be IPs that they have rights to or own. So if people want Joanna in, then Microsoft would give IG the ok to put her in. The real just characters come outside of Microsoft.

Sure, Ms Dark would make a fine addition to the game. Nice concept pic btw.
I wouldn’t expect a bonus character this season, though, and almost certainly not a ground-up full-budget guest character.
Omen was the bonus character for season 2. 
Anyway, I still feel like Jo would be a wasted roster slot. Give Orchid a kickass Perfect Dark costume set and call it a day. Anyway, I’d rather have a CANONICAL character any day over another guest. Give me Eagle, give me one of the old Kev Bayliss designs like the voodoo doll or the giant snail.
Now don’t get me wrong if we absoluteness HAD to have a guest I guess Jo isn’t so bad but honestly we could do better. Then again at least she’s not Scorpion. :\

No, it’s not. Her background icon would’t just say “Perfect Dark” - it would have the logo of the Carrington Institute or something like that instead.
In any case, I’m with @xCrimsonLegendx on this - we could do better; an Orchid outfit would do nicely, and I prefer an orignal character ala Eagle too (and we should NEVER have Scorpion)…
Besides, having her as a “bonus” character implies that she wouldn’t be getting certain things, such as a retro, accessories, a stage, etc. - all of which her fans will be craving, and feel disappointed about when they don’t get them…
I, for 1, will NOT be re-tweeting this. With that said, this seems kind of unfair as those who don’t want her don’t yet have a Tweet to re-tweet to let the devs know that they ddn’t want her. This means all it would take is a good number of people to re-tweet this and boom, we’ll have her even if the majority of players actually don’t want her at all, and that, to me, is wrong. If the devs or MS think they can profit off of it with even a small number of fans, they’ll greenlight it - that’s all it’ll take.
Another problem, and 1 that’s been argued before, is that she won’t actually do very much to bring in new players, since Perfect Dark isn’t as big an IP as, say, Gears of War or Halo. Even Scorpion could potentially be a better choice in this regard because at least he would grab a significant amount of MK players that already largely enjoy FGs (although, I myself, would find caving to the competition rather questionable).
I really like the idea of giving Orchid a Joanna accessory set instead of actually putting Joanna in the game.

If this did happen hopefully we get her original skin and the British Voice actor. And I guess because the Xbox 360 version was a prequel the retro skin could be from that along with her American VO.
Edit: The bonus character (if we get one) should definitely be Eagle.

I would have been fine with her if we didn’t have three other guests prior and I don’t want any more thank you very much. I rather have more original characters.
That being said, while I know that there are other reasons why some people don’t want her, the whole “we can’t have her because we already have Orchid” argument specifically is really starting to annoy me.

Orchid is a rebel freedom fighter in this game, not a spy unlike Joanna who is. There IS a difference. That’s like saying we can’t have a ninja character because we already have Jago (who is NOT a ninja)

By that logic, what’s Arbiter’s excuse? He too is an FPS guest who’s an honor bound alien like Glacius. Though apparently he gets a pass because he’s from a very popular IP huh? Plus he plays nothing like Glacius so why she can’t be different too?
Now I repeat, I DON’T want any more guests at this point. But it’s errors like that just to make a justifiable reason why/not that’s grindin’ muh gears here.

I don’t want Eagle or Joanna to be a “shadow” bonus~ character… Also I’d like to have both.
Also a Giant Chicken, Killer Doll, The Thing, a traditional cartoon character (1930’s-ish), Man in Black agent, and an alien obsessed Hippie
