I don’t foresee any major outreach beyond the usual JL characters other than some non-canon DLC additions. idk might be surprised
Has it been confirmed this game will be a 3 button like the first game? 1, 2, and 3 for attacks, and 4 for “trait”?
I popped in I1 for a little today to try and learn it (I only played casually when I first got the game back at launch) and playing KI and SFV trying to go to Injustice was bit awkward control wise lol
It should be a 3 button game like the first game. They’ve already stated that returning legacy characters like Batman, Aquaman, and Superman have very similar returning move sets.
I find the pace of injustice is really hard to go back to, especially compared to MKX, SFV, and KI. Supposedly I2 will play at faster pace than the first Injustice, so that’s nice.

I’m not sure what character I’d like to play in I2. So far for SFV I’ve been drawn to Karin, in KI I’ve been drawn to Orchid, and in MKX I’ve dabbled with Jaqui Briggs. I really like the Fei Long style characters. I’m not sure what that would translate into for Injustice.

Yes, it is still a 3 button fighter. Light, Medium, Heavy. Trait button as well.
D1 is poke, D2 is uppercut, D3 is sweep.
I’ve not seen any evidence the pace has changed really. People have said the max distance isn’t as far apart as it was, but in from gameplay clips I cannot see that zoom/max-distance has changed.
Jumps seem less floaty, but from what I’ve heard jump-attack hitboxes have been normalized to compensate. It was noted that Batman’s j2 no longer has the absolutely-insane-wtf-omg hitbox it had in Injustice 1.
From the gameplay my best guess is it’s like Injustice 1, very setup heavy. Tons of crazy shenanigans. I can’t wait.

. On a serious note I am looking forward to Grodd, I just love the way he juggles his opponents and his animation in general. (Plus I’ve been playing a sh*t ton of Donkey Kong Country series and all of those Harambe memes so I’m in a monkey binge)
