I don’t like that type of games. They’re not real fighting games or RPG’s or whatever they try to be. They’re just there to be time-consumers, and I’m not fond of that concept.
Sub Zero plays really well…but the god ■■■■ 5 level AI in multiverse is just Fn stupid. ■■■■■■ me off.
I always use the AI for the lv 4 and lv 5 multiverse. For me the AI is just to fast. WW for example hits me no matter what I do. She even hits me with a whip when I am in mid jump. She will block all my wake ups, then it is either whip or shield. Then some how she is throwing a meter shield the whole match.
I know , but I want to play I dont want to use the AI unless I absolutely have no other option. The AI is too hard…makes the game not fun at all. TO get gear it shouldn’t be this difficult.
I dont fully understand the wake up game plan in this game. Sometimes I do my wake up and I still get hit. Not just the AI either.
The mobile isn’t a fighing game, I will give you that, but as far as phone games go, you can do alot worse. I just play it to waste time. I get a kick out of the people who need to spend $100’s just so they can beat me. I guess those people just need to have a win no matter the cost.
The input reading is too strong with this game. You basically have to keep your directions at neutral and guess at the very last second. Like banging your head against a brick wall, its not fun to do and only hurts you. Leave it to the AI and things speed along, play the level 3 difficulty.

There is at least one post a day on their fourm about the AI difficulty. We are not the only ones with the issue. I watched the NRS stream on sub zero, and they seem to think it was funny that the hard AI could compete at EVO. To me if you know it is that hard, then it needs to be toned down.
That is exactly what I do. Right now I have watched Joker fail 5+ times fighing lv 5 batman. I have seen the AI use the clash system to break a combo 2 times in every match. Everytime Joker starts a good combo he does it. Just did it right now.

It was a joker only stage. I would have used SZ if it wasn’t. 
I don’t want to play a game based on “other games are worse”… that’s not a standard I want to follow. The whole “it’s better than nothing” mindset is so limiting. I’m not going to play Nightwing in a game I don’t like, just because he isn’t in I2. Or play as Jade in the MKX mobile game, just because she isn’ in the main game. Or play as Psylocke in the Marvel’s Contest of Champions, just because she isn’t in any newer fighting game and will most likely not make it to the new Marvel VS Capcom Infinite either…
I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with those games or that people like to play them, they are just not for me.

That is not how I meant it. I get that you don’t like it. I wouldn’t expect you to play a game that you don’t like. I just meant that if you like those type of phone fighting games that injustice 2 makes a really nice one, instead of some nasty looking one.
I do get your dislike for phone games. It is really hard for me to find a good one that is not some money pit after 2 min of game play. I also don’t want to play a game where I need to wait 7+days for some item if I don’t want to pay money.

This is the problem with AI, and especially NRS AI. It has two settings: stand there and get walloped or read your inputs and perfectly counter. It’s not fun to play. It’s not as if the AI is designed with some sort of strategy in mind that you have to figure out. Mostly it’s just “keep playing until it randomly lets you win.” As a result, even when you beat it you rarely feel like you have accomplished anything.

The lousy AI has been such a problem with NRS and Midway before them for so long stretching back as far as MK 1& 2 they likely consider it a tradition by now.
