The best way is to watch the multiverse. The single player one. Each one has items for a certain character. The harder ones will give you a full set of 5 pieces when you finish the objectives. Like right now there is one for Swamp Thing and one for Cheetah.
AI load outs will give you epic gear (from mother boxes)a lot when you use it for battle simulator.
Also the multiverse ladders shoot out a lot of epic gear
Every day make sure you log out and are not resuming the game. Itâs setup to give you motherboxes every first 6 or so simulation fights per day
Multiverse is always gifting gear between fights AND rewarding motherboxes
Is that supposed to be a Star Trek reference?
Not exactlyâŠI think Star Trek might have done it once or twice, but there have several pop culture twins where the evil ones were differentiated by having a beard. For example:
What if theyâre intended to be a Star Trek reference themselves?
*shrug *
On another note, Iâve been trying to figure out why this outfit for Harley looked so off:
And then it dawned on meâŠshe doesnât have her mask on:
Just curious, does anyone know if she gets one in her gear?
Yes, these are pretty much Star Trek references. The idea of an evil bearded alter ego didnât originate with Star Trek but there is an episode of the original show where the entire alternate reality evil crew can be differentiated by their sinister looking beards. They were trying to eliminate confusion for the audience but it came off pretty hokey - especially through a modern lense.
If that trick was done today they would just give them colored contacts.
Andy is right, Star Trek made it a running gag: If two twins come to action, the bearded one is evil
We can see this in a lot of media. For example, in Futurama, they introduced Flexo, who looks and sounds exactly like Bender with the exception of having a small triangular metal goatee on his chin. But the twist here is that Bender is actually the evil one, instead of Flexo XD
If Iâm not mistaken, although Star Trek made this some kind of meme, the first time an bearded evil twin appeared was in tv/movies was in 1939âs âThe man in the Iron maskâ, where Lois XIV is the evil twin of Philippe, a a boy raised by dâArtagnan and The Three Musketeers
**Thatâs actually not it. The parts that hang down go all the way around it. **
I havenât seen that one either.
Had a very nice time playing multiverse mode yesterday - until the CPU went super Sayyan and I had to fight the same black Adam 50 times in a row. He had regenerating health and basically just comboed the â â â â out of me if I ever touched a button then threw me if I didnât. Yes, Iâm salty, but this character has both instant lows and instant overheads⊠I just get very frustrated when the AI reads buttons because it doesnât take any skill to program the computer to beat you.
I have the same feeling trying to cuter break a shadow player. It will break me in the same spot 8 times in a row, but the one time I try a counter breaker, it will not break. Then it will break me again several more times in the same spot.
I always look at the difficulty of the multiverse. If it is five bars, then that AI is going to do some amazing â â â â . I guess that is why the best gear is behind them.
It took me 58 tries to beat the 5 bar Supergirl the other day.
I also found a vid of a guy using the staff but heâs s language was unacceptable
So apparently if youâre doing something on multiverse and your internet connection has a hiccup it shuts down your game and sends you back to the title screen. I was doing the battle simulator and was fighting Brainiac (rather neat that the boss form of him uses his whole ship to attack you), and I had to set the controller down to go do something, and when I came back like 2 minutes later it had a pop-up on the screen saying I had lost connection, and it sent me back to the title screen. SMH.
Didnât we like⊠boycott DRM? Whyâs this still a thing, lol.
Because money.
Honestly I really donât mind DRM, provided thatâs it done right. I personally think they had it done right last generation, when games would only check when loading and after that youâd be good to go. But I suppose some developers decided they needed to put the entire internet in house arrest because there was too much money being lost to all those pirates that allegedly hinder them from making those extra billions.
of course Iâm saying this because statistically speaking game piracy is a very minimal loss for game developers that weâre all suffering for. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/emmawoollacott/2013/05/15/finally-some-objective-figures-on-games-piracy/amp/
Maybe you just wanted to fight it 50 times yourself but⊠and maybe you already know this, but if you make a AI loadout and pick it at the loadout screen when youâre choosing your fighter, your AI fighter will fight for you.
This is helpful several ways. It can be used to level up fighters in the multiverse or save time beating a pain in the a boss.**
I think there is just to much crap to unlock in the game. Do we really need 5-10 outfits for each level â1-20â and then one for each grade âcommon-epicâ. Then we have shaders, and each character has 8-10 of those. Finally there are extra moves hidden in these boxes âfrom my count there are at least 2 per character in these boxesâ.
I have opened over 1,000 chests and could open 500 more if I wanted to âwith my in game moneyâ This is such a waste of time. All I want is one move, and I need to open over 1000 boxes for it? This is BS.
I get that people want KI to have more accessories, but this is so far the other way that it is not funny.
Now that I am complaining, I wonder about Ranked mode. How in the heâll is picking your opponents ranked? So now I can have a perfect ranked score by not fighting anyone over level 3? I about crapped when I had 6 people refuse me in rank " I was level 56 " what is the point of rank if you can pick and choose? I might as well turn on 2nd X1 and refuse every match that isnât me on my other X1. No one can beat me like I can
