Cinder has no flip out moves, or any staggers. Kinda upsets me a little seeing as I don’t get to take as much advantage of some of the new mechanics of the game as others do, but I’ll make do without.

Sadira does not have one either - she gets neither stagger nor flipout.
Aria actually does have a flipout. It’s off her LK I believe.

Is it better to have them block the attack before the instinct cancel or get hit by it?
One good use I’ve found for DD is to trick your opponent into committing to shadow moves from full screen by throwing a light rashakuken, then DD right before they hit you. If you time it right, it’s a legit punish.
