That’s awesome! Here I was complaining we never have events within the US and you went ahead and organized an event in Nigeria.

I should really get something going with gaming stores or if not just went out a place and invite a ton of peeps.

Aside from that, good stuff! Thanks for capturing the experience, looked like a blast. :grin:

This is really cool. I don’t have enough time on my lunch break to watch them all, but I really enjoyed the Glacius v Maya match that is in the middle somewhere.

Maybe you could tell us a little more about the venue and the attendees. That looks like a pretty cool setup. Is it a college campus, or a community center or a private gaming space? I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen a juxtaposition quite like having a gigantic Kotal Kahn MK X mural sitting next to a TV surrounded by Strawberry Shortcake and the Disney Princesses. Are you guys in Lagos or Abuja, or somewhere else? Based on the good response to @BoJima404’s reports on the Japanese KI scene, people might like to hear a little more about the players and the community.

Yes, I already sent interview questions to the Strongest KI players in the Nigerian KI community regarding their experience with Killer instinct in Nigeria, am gonna post their Interviews very soon.

I’ve noticed that several of these players are very patient when breaking combos. Only a handful of guess breakers.

This is great that KI is spreading out past the United States. It seems that only Japan and The States only get attention when it comes to fighting games. Nice to see other countries get in on the action.

@BrandedChip6671 lives! And to think that in the old forums people (including me) wondered if he was actually from Nigeria or just trolling us… Now we know and I can’t express how awesome it is to see KI being played in Africa! Makes us wonder where else in other far off corners of the world the game is being played.
Thanks for sharing these! Love the ventilation fans around the place - must’ve been quite hot there! :smile:
