Hallucinations

Have any of you ever experienced ANY halluciations (including the auditory type) before in/during your lifetime?

In my case I seemed to have experienced BOTH visual and auditory hallucinations before during my lifetime:
For visual: This girl walking with NO head on her.
For auditory: From time to time I would hear my name being called out (including hearing my mom’s voice calling out my name) either from out of nowhere/out of thin air or coming from any particular direction/location where I heard my name being called out.

I remember I saw a pen standing on it’s tip, so when I got my friend, it was on it’s side. It’s not as serious as seeing people with no head, but it was still creepy at the time.

When I used to drop acid or take X tabs Id hallucinate. But the most I ever hallucinated was when we picked mushrooms and made shroom tea. OMG it was insane! lol

…hmmm…

Nope I can’t say that I recall having any hallucinations. Probably the closest thing I can think of is occasionally I swear I see a flash of light off in my peripheral vision…usually when I’ve been staring at a computer screen for too long.

I used to hear random game sound effects a lot when I was younger. And The first aND last time I stayed up all night I saw a figure crouched near my bedroom door, I didn’t go to the bathroom when I saw that NOPE.

Yasssss! This is what I did on my first trip in high school and oh man, that was a blast! lol

Anyway yeah. There have been times where I have thought I had seen something out of the corner of my eye that wasn’t there or have heard people calling my name but when I asked them if they were calling me they say no lol

I used to hear rings, like my doorbell, and other random rings. A few days ago late at night I thought I heard my parents talking so I went to their room but they were both asleep. In the shower when I’m home alone I sometimes hear things like the doorbell or sounds like if someone else is in the house. I’ve also heard my name called out. Not too long ago I heard my mom call me but I was home alone lol this one time I randomly woke up in the middle of the night and saw like the shadow/silhouette of big tall man standing in the doorway. Has was just standing there like if he was watching me. Then again, it was really dark, I didn’t have my glasses on so my eyes could’ve just been tricking me, idk lol

Man the stories I can tell you… OMG… too much fro this thread. maybe we can discuss in PM one day. lol

Eh, I have had lots of minor hallucinations over the years (mostly auditory) but it has always, seemingly, been linked to my terrible sleep habits, if not outright deprivation.

It’s hard to name any specific instances, but there was a time in college when it got bad. It was my first semester in the dorm. I had all my finals on a Monday, and we didn’t have to leave for winter break until Friday, so I stuck around on campus after my finals to hang out with friends and help them study. After staying up all night Monday into Tuesday and handling it pretty well, I decided to see how long I could go as I didn’t have to leave campus or do anything serious, like driving, for the rest of the week. Cut to Friday morning after hitting around 100 hours without sleep, I don’t recall what I was seeing but I had to keep asking my roommate about something I was hallucinating, like, every ten minutes. He finally got worried enough about me that he went and got our RA who gave me a firm talking to about healthy sleep habits. Aside from the hallucinations, I had actually remained super lucid and aware pretty much throughout the week. I just kept seeing things on that last day. When I slept for twenty-four hours straight that weekend, I just convinced my folks I had a bunch of late nights due to study sessions.

Mmmmmmmmm…nope never had any. Just insanity.

Insanity? Interesting

Of course. Do you want to know the definition of insanity?

Yes

I mean, I already know. Lol

Step into my assistant office.

Not sure what that means lol

I got promoted to the assistant CEO.

…are you sure you’ve never hallucinated? Lol
