just go read cyberizations post here. he can explain it a lot better than i can. its not that people hate the idea of a guest character. its mainly that it could be handled very, very poorly. like master chief in DoA or pretty much every guest character in soul caliber.
also i dont think rash is a bad guest character either. he was handled very well.
