I was thinking about it today and making my own Ki tournaments. Everyone form season 1 competes in tournament one etc.
how it works is shadow jago is the boss of the first tournament Aria is the season 2 boss and Gargos Is the season three boss.
I’ll make bracket for all the characters and let the AI fight it out. There’s also stakes to the matches. If anyone is ultrad they are considered killed in the tournament and can’t compete in next years tournament. I was going to run this today and see who wins and who survives the tournaments. I was curious if anyone would want to see the brackets and results when I do it later today? Also something fun for you guys to try and see what happens.

That’s pretty cool! I actually have been doing AI based tournaments since early of Season 2, except you have a much better twist to your tournament.
I made two actually, one is called Killer Matchups; which is basically AI vs AI done every major patch or balance change. The other is called Mann vs Machine; which is a co-op based mode where the bracket features two players who fight together to beat the AI at a relatively high difficulty.
Couple suggestions/mentions.

Set AI to Killer, although you would think Ultimate is the better choice, it’s actually awful to watch. Mainly because the AI breaks everything and the winner is usually determined by who does more damage over who does different combos, which AI locks-out, which utilizes shadows correctly and so on.

Mira will ALWAYS lose. AI doesn’t manage blood correctly so she will lose to anyone indefinitely.

If you don’t already use Challonge brackets, they are the best imo as others can watch the brackets live, should they want to.

Fun idea 
I liked the idea of having Shadows face each other. Before real tournaments like EVO people could put Shadows in a bracket to see which player would most likely win. People would then bet Shadow Currency and if a player wins irl then you’d be rewarded shadow points.

UPDATE: TOURNAMENT 2 RESULTS:
Thunder having won the tournament for to have Aria and find the truth about his bother. Thunder lost the battle but was spared buy Aria who impressed by his knowledge told him his brother was still alive but if he wish to know more he would have to wait and prove himself.

After the tournament had concluded there was a break from killer instinct tournaments to give people time to train. That was until Gargos had suddenly appeared and waged war against the human race. He started his own killer instinct tournament to see if anyone was worthy.

I’m thinking about making it if the tournament three winner loses to Gargos all the remaining fighters who are still alive will fight Gargos till someone beats him or Gargos wins.

I just do it to have fun! Do the same and enjoy. I was really sad when jago died in the first tournament. I had it that everyone in their first tournament is in their retro and the second tournament they appear in they can have their normal costume, then if anyone makes it to a third if they want change their outfit up. Just something fun to show character progress in tournaments.

WHAT A BLOODY THIRD TOURNAMENT!!!
With Rash coming out as our tournament champion can he stop Gargos from invading earth? Or will he need the help of the last remaining fighters standing? In killer instinct tournament 3 we have seen the deaths of
Tusk, hisako, Maya, Aria, arbiter, Mira, kan rah, Kim wu, orchid and lastly in the finals eyedol. What a bloody tournament. Now we go to rash vs Gargos!!!
Rash was defeated by Gargos and knocked unconscious. The remaining heroes must rise up against him now! The fate of the world is up to: Thunder, fulgore, tj, riptor, omen, raam and rash if he ever wakes up!
EDIT: Thunder has defeated Gargos and closed the portal! The remaining fighters take their time now to recover mourn their loses and train for the day a new threat appears!
