Title says it all, share your favorite videos of fighting games other than KI. I’m curious what other stuff people on this forum are into!
First is a tribute video to kusoru, a somewhat infamous guilty gear player. There’s an explanation of all the clips in the comments, but even if you don’t play guilty gear I think it’s pretty apparent that the way this guy plays isn’t exactly normal. He’s a complete troll, he loves terrible moves, and he’s hilarious to watch.
So, if it’s not clear what’s happening in this match…kenshiro’s hokuto zankaiken super is terrible. It’s incredibly slow to start up, is easily avoided in almost any situation, and can’t be combo’d into. However, if it connects, a timer appears (it says 3 seconds but is much longer,) and if kenshiro isn’t KO’d by the time it reaches 0 he wins the match. Also, under certain conditions all characters have a “fatal KO” move which instantly KOs the opponent. Now, enjoy the best hnk match ever.
Daigo vs momochi at stunfest 2015 is an amazing match. It evolves as it goes on, and the shifts in each player’s mental state is easy to see expressed in their gameplay.
I miss seeing daigo play like this. It’s a shame it’s not really possible in SFV.
Speaking of daigo, this video makes me want to learn japanese…
