Error loading save file (help!)

Whenever I try to boot the game up, the game tells me that it had an error loading the save file and that I “will be unable to save/load game progress.” It also displays “Error Code: 9”.

When I get to the character select screen, I can only select Jago, and attempting to select any online mode will tell me that I’m “Not Connected to Xbox Live” with the message “You are not currently signed into a profile, please sign into a profile to enable this feature.” without presenting the option to sign in.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, I’ve tried signing out of and back in to my Xbox account, I’ve tried restarting my PC, I’ve checked the Teredo stuff, and nothing has worked.

Is there any way to fix this?

This is on the Windows 10 version of the game.

Are you using the same Microsoft Account that you’ve purchased the game with?

Press new game. The only things kept in your local save data are replays, and saved training packs. Your progress, game settings, and car presets are all tied to the cloud, so you won’t lose them
